A Full-Service Nursery

We carry a multitude of different bags of soil, mulch and other soil amendments.

Potting soil is a lightweight medium used for plants in pots (go figure!).

Compost is a blend of carbon- and nitrogen-rich organic matter that is used for lightening and aerating heavy clay soils and providing absorption and desired heaviness to lighter-weight, sandy soils. Compost also adds nutrients.

Mulch is shredded bark used for regulating temperature and moisture levels around trees and beds, while simultaneously adding nutrient-rich organic matter that can be utilized by your plants and preventing weeds.

Other soil amendments include perlite, lava sand, worm castings, blood and bone meal, etc. Their purposes vary.

Sometimes bags just will not do it! If you bring your truck or trailer, we can use our Bobcat to load you up with some of our bulk soil and mulch.
